How do street photographers behave?
street photographers are very determined.they wake up early to get out to take as many photos as they can and most of the photographers would take the photo without asking and be in the other persons face but there are people such as Jamal shamazz who asks to take the photo
What kind of equipment do they use?
most street photographers use a film camera and some even carry a flash with them.
What kind of subjects intreats them?
Anything that is different, unsettling or random interests them. They always find the best way to show these things/people and the photos never look similar.
Why do they like to photograph on the street?
they like to because they think is the best place to take photos of people and the city because its really in the moment and they like to document it because things are always changing.
What are the risks of street photography?
It depends on the way you take the photo.if you don't ask to take the photo you could be hurt by the person you took the photo of .You also just have to be careful because you are on the street.
What makes a successful street photograph?
The photo has to be simple but of a person or thing that is different and catches your eye.

Tate modern trip
We had a trip to the Tate modern where we had to take photos on the way there and inside the building and also on the way back.i found this task really easy and fun.
photos from above |
For street photography we had to take as many photos from above. The photos were not planned at all but we had to walk around school and take photos of people, animals or just anything that was from above and interesting.I like taking this photos because you had no time to get ready and its in the moment and it wasnt very hard to find a good shot in the school because there was allot of things i could take photos of |
I think this is one of my best street photography photos. Its Dwane from my year. I took this when i was walking along the walk ways and I saw Dwane out of class on his own,he was unaware that i took the photo so it made it even better because it wasn't planned. He was leaning on the wall looking away from the camera. It was taken from above and to his right but slightly behind him. |
shadow and reflection
|
when I did shadows and reflection i found it really easy because there are lots of shadows on the concourse at school and it was easy to find reflections because there are many windows and mirrors and things that are reflective at school. My favourite photo that I took whilst doing shadow and reflection is the one of me leaning over water and you can see the refection of trees behind me. |
over the shoulder
I found this task the easiest out of them all because there is always people walking around school and its very easy to do but it does get a bit repetitive especially when you take photos in the same place.I think the best photo was of the teacher at the front teaching the class but the photo was taken over the shoulder of a student. |
|
cropping
|
I found this task the hardest out of all that we have done because I usually take photos from a distance instead of up close and focused on one thing. My favourite photo is the one of the fire escape sign because it is very simple but the nicest to look at aswell. |
walk on by
I found this task really easy because you can literally pull out the camera and take a photo and it will still come out well. My favourite out of them all is the one of the student taking an over the shoulder of another man on the walk way, I like the simple background and how the photo is framed and I think the two people really stand our because the contrast of the bright colours on there clothing. |
|
surfaces
|
I found this task quite hard because I didn't want the photos to look very similar because at school it looks pretty much the same everywhere you go. My favourite photo is the one where the wall is on the left and the walk way is on the right and the photo was taken towards block three.I like it because how it has allot in the photo and how it is framed. |
boogie
Boogie (Vladimir Milivojevich) was born in Serbia 1969 .He takes photos in New york city and Brooklyn.I choose boogie to evaluate because I think he takes photos that are completely different to anyone else and focuses on things that no other photographer does.he normally takes photos of people with knifes or guns ,dogs and other things that are similar. In this photo there is a man holding a dogs leash and the dog is close to the camera and the man is behind the dog. This photo is in black and white. The dog looks like its trying to get as close to the camera but the man is pulling the dog back. Boogie must have been really low to the ground to take this photo because the photo looks like it was take from the same height as the dogs head. This photo was taken from a low angle and the photographer was still. The camera was tilted up a little to get the man in the photo. I think the photographer used a wide angle lens to take the photo because you can see allot of the building in the background. This is one of my favourite photos from boogie because I like how the dog is really close to the camera and its from a low angle so its kinda weird to look at because you would normally look down at a dog.i also like how the man holding the lead has his face hidden by the shadow from his hood. |

20 street photography hw
I think this photo went well because its eye catching and not a normal way you would see the sea gull because its half the size of Big Ben but that's the reason its eye catching because it tricks your eye. but i think the photo would look better if i had moved back and had taken the photo because there would be more shapes but like this it makes the photo more eye catching.
